Middle School at Shearer

Shearer TK-8 Magnet School offers another choice for middle years education and creates opportunities for students to develop leadership skills through cross-grade level mentoring and service.  Through our career exploration theme students make connections across academic disciplines and are able to build academic skills while learning about themselves and the world around them.

 Shearer Magnet Middle School Program Includes

• engaging, integrated Career Exploration units 
• smaller, nurturing classroom environment within a strong school community
• elective classes connected directly to our Career Exploration magnet theme with opportunities for leadership and mentoring
• athletic programs through neighboring middle schools
